A fast-paced, abridged adaptation of William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, follows Macbeth, a Scottish general whose encounter with three mysterious witches sets him on a dark path of ambition, murder, and madness. Encouraged by his equally ambitious wife, Lady Macbeth, he murders King Duncan to seize the throne. But guilt, paranoia, and supernatural forces soon unravel their plans, leading to betrayal, insanity, and death.

Raphael Tromblay is a senior at NCHS and is directing Macbeth. He was in the NCHS productions of The Wizard of Oz, Emma: A Pop Musical!, The Music Man, and played Hector in last year's play: The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza. He's also likely in the audience with his pokemon plushies.
